Welcome! I'm Jacob.

I'm a passionate programmer who loves compilers, programming languages, computer graphics, human-computer interaction, interface design, tools for learning, and learnable tools. Away from computing, you can find me outside in the woods, playing soccer, riding a mountain bike, or oil painting at an easel.

Projects, Programs, and Experiments

I do these projects mostly to experiment and learn. They're all done on my own time. While they all function nicely, some could use polish and aren't quite ready for others to use.

Artwork

A picture of me as a child with a paintbrush

I've been painting for quite a while. I use oil paints with a palette knife instead of a brush. Some of these were sold or given away, so it's special for me to see them all together. Here's a preview of a few of my favorites.
